What is Practical Process Improvement ® (PPI)? It is a practical, results-focused, scaled-approach through the use of appropriate strategies and tactics tailored for the size of the firm and scope of the project. With the application and rollout of Internet of Things (IoT) and Industry 4.0 (I4.0) technology and solutions, it is ever more critical to make certain your services and processes are optimized for your clients and customers.

PPI firmly believes in the principles, tools, and techniques of lean, six sigma and other contemporary process improvement methodology.  Our many years of practical experience has shown us many firms do not have the resources, human and financial, to fully use the complete six sigma DMAIC or DMADV frameworks.  We developed a scaled approach we named Practical Process Improvement ®.

PPI was founded in 2006 and assists clients in IT, manufacturing and service businesses to improve the effectiveness, efficiency and productivity of their processes and services by use of practical process improvement tools and methodologies

Scott Cornish, Founder and Principal Consultant, is now employed full-time for Cooper University Healthcare and is no longer accepting new clients.
